The alliance between eSmart Source and Two Technologies allows the two companies to leverage each other's strengths in providing their customers with a comprehensive set of the latest RFID solutions, consultancy services and training, staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly developing area of application and deployment of RFID technology.

RFID is a means of identifying objects from a distance using radio frequency transmissions. An RFID tag, containing an electronic chip, stores data on the product within which it is embedded. A reader (fixed, mobile or handheld) is used to retrieve the information. As a wireless technology, RFID is effective in manufacturing as it enables accurate and real-time tracking of inventory by companies throughout an entire supply chain without the need for line-of-sight tags and readers (as in the case of bar code scanning).
