Ontus Telecommunications Corp. Shareholder Clarification on Forward Split; Stock Symbol to Change to ``ONTC''
PORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 5, 2004 -- Ontus Telecommunications Corp. (OTC:ONTT), an FCC licensed international and long distance communications carrier, today received notification from the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD) that the CUSIP number and corresponding trading symbol for its common stock have been changed effective November 8, 2004. As of this date, the shares of the company will trade under the symbol "ONTC."
In addition to the symbol change, the CUSIP for the new shares will be CUSIP #68339C201. The symbol change to "ONTC" does not affect the validity of currently outstanding stock certificates issued under CUSIP #68339C102. Shareholders holding certificates issued under this CUSIP are required to take no action to receive new shares.
These changes were made to reflect the forward split of three shares for every one share owned by the shareholders of record as of November 8, 2004 previously reported by the Company.
