InterDyn - LANAC Technology Announces New Vice President; Industry Veteran Gary Schafer to Lead Sales and Marketing Efforts
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 15, 2006 -- InterDyn - LANAC(TM) Technology, a leading provider of world-class accounting and business information systems, announced today that industry veteran Gary Schafer will join the company as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
A 17-year veteran of the technology industry, Schafer will begin his duties September 1 and will be responsible for all of LANAC's sales and marketing activities. He will also manage LANAC's relationships with local Microsoft(R) Corporation teams.

Schafer began his career in 1989 at Great Plains Software, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2001. He most recently was general manager of inside sales for Microsoft's Small, Mid-market Solutions & Partner organization in the United States. Previous to that role, he served as vice president of customer business at Great Plains. He has had leadership positions across a variety of areas including product support, product testing, sales and marketing, and customer research.

Schafer holds a bachelor of science in computer information systems from Valley City (North Dakota) State University and a master of business management from the University of Mary, Fargo, North Dakota. He and his wife Joanne and their three children will be relocating from Sammamish, Washington to the Chicago area.
