In addition to revealing its new name, Permessa also announced a new release of its flagship CONTROL!(TM) family of products - solutions that provide a fast, easy view of the health of email, IM and collaboration applications. With the new look and feel of CONTROL!, IT can move quickly from spotting issues to taking action - with greater drill-down capabilities and more in-depth tracking of user trends.

"We've offered far more than traditional messaging analysis for years, so it's time our name better reflects our total value," said Stefan Mehlhorn, CEO of Permessa. "As IT managers struggle to enforce email policies and assure compliance, they're seeking a new class of solutions from experts they can trust. Permessa has helped hundreds of organizations manage world-class messaging operations for over

10 years. Look for continued innovation from our team with new solutions, expanded product sets, and further customer deployments."

New CONTROL!(TM) Version: At-A-Glance Understanding

The latest upgrade to the CONTROL! family of solutions gives IT managers improved at-a-glance visibility of messaging traffic levels. With its new easier-to-scan views and drill-down features, IT can act faster to keep corporate messaging resources at peak performance, readily scalable, and secure. The new version includes:

-- Web browser supported portals with many customizable reporting options that convert complex messaging statistics into easy-to-read graphical charts. The portals also allow users to take control of the charts, customizing them to the particular view or toggling between them to a view which best represents the data.

-- Greater drill-down reporting capabilities so IT can more quickly view messaging detail. With a simple click, IT can examine trends by user name, subject, form type, attachment type, attachment by size, domain address, and messaging size - so staff can pin point messaging misuse(s) faster or formulate policy enforcement rules.

-- Enhanced pre-configured or "canned" reports for easier viewing of server utilization, for example to allow IT to monitor other servers' traffic flow, such as a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).
