JAPAN'S NTT DEBUTS IN INDIA WITH VERTEX BUY (has acquired 68.7% equity in Vertex Software)
(India Business Insight Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) NTT Data Corporation, the data services operation of NTT Corporation of Japan, has forayed into India by acquiring 68.7 percent equity in Vertex Software of Pune.
The company will acquire the stake from Mitsui & Co of Japan and LogicSoft of the US.
Vertex Software is involved in mobile product engineering, handset porting, MMS and WAP porting, software testing services and products development. The company has offices in Pune, Tokyo and Acton in the US.
