Lindab International AB reports Q2 operating profit of SEK396m

Swedish sheet metal products group Lindab International AB (OMX
Stockholm: LIAB) reported on Thursday (17 July) an operating profit of
SEK396m on net sales of SEK2,567m for the second quarter 2008.
Both operating profit and net sales increased, respectively, from
SEK330m and SEK2,329m, as compared to the corresponding period in 2007.
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to SEK3.38, up from SEK2.81.
Lindab International, headquartered in Grevie, Sweden, develops,
manufactures and markets sheet metal products and system solutions for
the construction sector. the group has 5,000 employees in 30 countries,
and reported sales of SEK9.28bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.86 Swedish kronor
(SEK).
