Liquid Computing's CTO Mike Kemp Discusses Virtualizing the Complete
IT Infrastructure at Virtualization Conference & Expo 2008 West
LOS ALTOS, CA, Nov 14, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
What: Liquid Computing, developer of the world's first fully
converged communications and computing platform, today announced that
its co-founder and CTO Mike Kemp will discuss how virtualization
technology in the data center can be extended beyond hypervisors to
embrace complete IT infrastructure management, resulting in
significant business value.
While today's virtualization technologies are important and useful,
they have limited flexibility or ability to scale, and they don't
offer optimal asset utilization or the ability for rapid provisioning
in the data center. Kemp will reveal how these limitations can be
overcome through an innovative approach to data center optimization:
virtualization of the complete IT infrastructure. He will explain how
this approach delivers a "Services Oriented IT Infrastructure" (SOI),
which can be fully exploited through management systems that enable
service providers and enterprises to more efficiently deliver service
differentiation, business continuity, disaster recovery and OPEX
reduction.
Kemp will also provide examples of how Liquid Computing and other
technology leaders are delivering on this vision today.
When: Thursday, November 20, 2008
9:10 - 9:55 (Session 4)
Where: Virtualization Conference & Expo 2008 West
Fairmont Hotel, San Jose, Calif.
November 19-21, 2008
