FunMobility Releases 'Smack Me'
Mar 06, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
FunMobility, a provider of wireless community and media services, announced the availability of Smack Me, a new music reflex game, which is accompanied by an original retro 80s video game soundtrack that follows players through a series of challenging levels and difficulty sessions.
Smack Me is hosted by a robot character named Ito, and just like in the 80s electronic game Simon, Ito gives you plenty of time to respond to him in the early rounds, then the action gets faster and faster. When he drinks his milkshake you better shake him. When he raises his lobster pinchers, you better pinch him. Challenge your friends to beat your score and see who will be the first to make it to 100 percent.
"Smack Me is a mix of Wii plus iPhone and a little old school arcade all wrapped into one," said Adam Lavine, CEO of FunMobility. "It's a great game that takes advantage of the iPhone s accelerometer and touch screen in a fun, addictive package."
Exclusively available for the iPhone, Smack Me uses the iPhone's multi-touch and accelerometer for a gaming experience not possible on the Nintendo DS, Microsoft Xbox or even Sony Playstation. Play with the retro soundtrack live, or use your headsets. There is plenty of action to keep players entertained, and even two additional unlockable commands offered through Ito who will guide you through challenges.
