SmarTrend(R) News Watch: B&G Foods Files to Raise $600 Million through Stocks and Warrants

B&G Foods (NYSE:BGS) filed a shelf registration statement with regulators on Thursday to raise up to $600 million through the sale of stock, warrants and other securities, according to an AP report. The company hopes to be able to take advantage of financial and business opportunities as they become available.
